Shana Dawson Fish is the Director of Brighter Horizons. Shana has a strong foundation of over 12 years as an attorney and child welfare advocate in Arizona. Shana is deeply committed to supporting vulnerable children and their families.
Shana’s career began in the legal field, where she represented the legal interests of families involved in the welfare system. This hands-on experience taught her the complexities and challenges faced by those navigating the system and fueled her passion for advocating on their behalf.
In her role as Director, she brings this wealth of experience to Brighter Horizons, and advances the mission of providing natural supports to vulnerable children. “Our mission aligns perfectly with my background, as we focus on offering comprehensive services to the most vulnerable populations.”
Shana is excited to leverage her experience and advocacy to enhance our programs and ensure that every child we serve has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. Shana’s goal is to build strong partnerships, secure necessary resources, and lead our team in delivering impactful and compassionate care.

Kiyoshi Fish, is the Program Director at Brighter Horizons. With a Master’s Degree in Psychology and 15 years of experience in child and family behavioral health practice and advocacy, Kiyoshi is deeply passionate about supporting vulnerable children and families
Kiyoshi’s professional journey has been dedicated to providing therapeutic services, behavior coaching, and parenting support. Over the years, Kiyoshi had the privilege of working closely with families in need, helping them navigate challenges and build stronger, healthier relationships. Kiyoshi’s background in psychology has equipped him with valuable insights and strategies to address behavioral and emotional needs effectively.
As Program Director, Kiyoshi is thrilled to bring his experience to Brighter Horizons. Kiyoshi is excited to apply his knowledge to enhance these programs, ensuring they are both impactful and responsive to the needs of those we serve.
